Rubini Vijayasuriar
Rubini Vijayasuriar has over 12 years of industrial experience with several multinationals companies. She started off her career as an engineer with Motorola Inc, in a research and development role and worked with cross functional team for two-way radio design. She then moved into Freescale Semiconductors, focusing on project management, and process improvement in the manufacturing and production line where she successfully supported the product engineering team for a product transfer from Japan to Malaysia.
She also has experience working with local start-ups in Malaysia during her tenure with MDEC where she helped coach technology-based start-ups with their business proposal writing and reviews to pitch new ideas and to venture capitals and for grant applications. Her diverse experience and roles have helped her develop valuable technical and interpersonal skills that she brings to her training programs.
Nianci Phang
Background: Nianci Phang is a marketing professional with experience in Integrated Marketing, Strategic Communications and Public Relations, Branding, Media Planning and Product Marketing. A graduate of Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, Nianci has experience with a wide range of MNCs in marketing roles, including Lazada. She is currently the Regional Marketing and Business Development Lead for Alibaba.com Malaysia and Thailand.
A seasoned marketer, she is experienced in crafting O2O brand building strategies. She is also a Google Certified Adwords and Analytics individual, and has been advising businesses and SMEs on e-commerce strategies.

With over 8 years in the Digital Product Marketing field, Orfeo Hoeve leverages on his experiences from Google and Unilever to strategise and plan ahead of his competitors.”
Shah Suriye Rubhen
Shah Suriye Rubhen is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Lazada Malaysia, overseeing the country’s eCommerce business operations. Enterprising and a go-getter, he believes there is no better time than now to accelerate digitalisation of businesses. Having been part of Lazada Malaysia since 2012, Shah’s expertise are seen in Marketplace operations, Content and tech verticals, Logisctics improvements and SME growth strategies.
He started out in the warehouse operations of Lazada, moving up to become the VP of Supply Chain, then progressing to the role of Co-Chief Marketplace Officer. His hard work and dedication earned him the position of Senior Vice President of Platform Operations before finally being promoted to the COO early this year.
Hansini Thedchanamoorthy
Hansini has been in the world of academics for over a decade, and is immensely passionate about training. As the Manager of Lazada University, she uses her experience and expertise in training to conduct online and offline training sessions for Sellers on the Lazada platform. She is also proud to share the strides and advancements made by Lazada for the benefit and growth of Sellers, especially when it comes to Seller education. The world of e-commerce is ever-growing and ever-changing, and she wants all Sellers to be able to absorb and make use of the knowledge that is readily available for them.
Yamunah Tangarajah
Always known for her innovative thinking and go-getter attitude in work and life, Yamunah believes there is no better time than now to accelerate digitalisation of eCommerce businesses in Malaysia, especially with Lazada. With a lot of experience from various industries under her young belt, Yamunah’s determination and resilience have helped many sellers on Lazada, as well as helped grow the database of sellers. Now the Vice President of Seller Marketing & Engagement for Lazada Malaysia today, she oversees all marketing, communications and trainings related to selling on Lazada.
Abang Brian
No stranger to Malaysians, MasterChef Malaysia finalist Abang Brian continues to share his passion for food, home and living on all media platforms. He first fell in love with sales when he joined a national TV home shopping network where he got to share great products and deals with all Malaysians. Acquiring top-level expertise in home shopping from the Korean counterparts of this network, Abang Brian naturally progressed from the kitchen category on to almost everything else, including electronics, home and living, health, consumables and fashion. He has been able to help suppliers achieve sales amounting to RM300k within a one-hour’s show!
Abang Brian recently got started with a Lazada-branded livestream which he managed to help maintain an average of 30k views, thousands of product clicks and revenue for represented Lazada Sellers. It is this exact same passion that fuels him further as he embarks on his journey to equip other Lazada Sellers with tips and tricks of livestreaming selling through his Masterclass series “Livestreaming – Bringing You To The Homes of Buyers”.
Jamie Thoo
Jamie Thoo has been a prominent Seller on Lazada for almost 5 years with over 8 years experience in the FMCG industry formerly. Jamie has also a certified LazStar Academy Trainer which was endorsed by Alibaba Business School & TaoBao University since 2019. She has since trained over 1000 New & Advanced Sellers through interactive online & offline workshops with an average score of 4.72 / 5!

Background Story: Affira started as a part-time Seller on Lazada in November 2019. With a passion for fashion, Affira joined her first campaign during “Lazada 12.12”. She received a revenue of about RM20,000 in one day! To make a better career change, Affira left her job and focused 100% on managing her store – Dloom & Dale. Using Lazada’s tools, her products are getting higher traffic even greater sales right now.
Tan Quan Ming
Store name: AutoBug Club
Category: Motors
Background Story: Quan Ming and his brother joined Lazada as Sellers in June 2018. Their store AutoBug made approximately RM3,000 revenue daily on a normal day, and the sales ballooned to over 400% during MCO. The brothers started to create video content about car maintenance & repair techniques and utilized Lazada’s promotional tools to drive traffic from the shoppers. Quan Ming always believed that all things have the potential to be sold with the right marketing strategies such as joining campaigns, vouchers & giving free shipping.
Dylan Lee
Store name: Salad Atelier & D’Mart
Category: Digital Goods & Grocery
Background Story: Dylan started with Salad Atelier a year ago on Lazada. Due to the pandemic, he switched his online business model to grocery – D’Mart. By using Lazada’s tools & guidance and same-day delivery strategy, 8400kgs of fresh vegetables & fruits were sold during MCO alone. For Lazada’s Bazaar Ramadan campaign, Dylan grabbed the opportunity and collaborated with his Malay chef to sell Ramadan food, which was a huge success!

Soh Su Yi
Soh Su Yi, more fondly known as Su Yi, is Lazada’s Groceries Category Manager. With her experience of being in retailing for the past 10 years, she has continuously worked with offline retailers, from both hypermarket and supermarket segments. She is equipped with skills from commercial buying to raw materials purchasing was involved in shop-in-shop leasing that adds experiential shopping in offline supermarkets.
With a passion is retailing, especially in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) category and data analytics, Su Yi is very excited to be part of the e-commerce world. She will be moderating a panel discussion with successful Sellers on how an everyday Seller can be successful in this field as well.
